1- If you are TRULY beach people, you're only going to stay in Cabo San Lucas (Medano beach) for beaches. The beaches at the Corridor and San Jose del Cabo are nice, but UNSWIMABLE. Period. The current is too rough.
However, Cabo is one of the most all around destination you can go to. Shopping, nightlife, horseback riding, ATV tours, surfing, great restaurants, history and culture. It's all there. One of my best experiences was a day trip (ALL DAY) to La Paz with a stop off at the THE Hotel California. Such a lovely place.
2- Best beaches - This is only my opinion.
Palm Beach - Aruba
Playa del Carmen - Riviera Maya Mexico
Orient Beach - St Martin
Seven Mile Beach - Negril
(don't know the name) - Turks and Caicos (softest sand/bluest water)

Is bermuda a nice place to go? Bermuda has some of the best beaches anywhere; pink sand beaches that you can find a deserted spot on. We were in Bermuda a couple years ago on cruise and some of the hotels had hurricane damage, but they were being repaired. The best thing about Bermuda is the beaches. There are only a few hotels on the beaches there, but all of the public beaches are great. I suggest a 5,6 or 7 day cruise to Bermuda, it will be less expensive than flying there to stay in a hotel. The island is small (22 miles long) and you can do the tour of it in one day. Then the rest of your time is beach time. They have a great public transportation system, so you can go all over the island with one public transportation ticket (bus and ferry).

i have family in bermuda so i go there all the time. it is a really beautiful place. they are a little more expensive than the US but they dont charge sales tax. if you go during the right time of year you can walk along front street on wednesdays for harbor nights. it is best if you dont go on a cruise because you get to do more of what you want to do. if you rent a moped be careful. road rash is a b*h down their. make sure you visit the SWIZZLe INN. it is a good resteraunt. be sure to go to a lot of beaches as well. have fun

There is quite a bit to do there, but at the same time, it is the perfect place to just relax. My parents love it. It is just a beautiful place to go and if she needs a vacation, I think it would be great for her.
As far as the cost, it just depends on what you include, if you get a package, or just a room, or what room you get, etc. I would say you won't find a room for less than $300 a night.

It is a great place for any age. Check out their website they put some sales up all the time, but the price running a bit high.

i would get one anyway. you don't want to be held up or hasseled by customs. plus, if you need one next year, might as well get one now. there will be an insanely long wait for a passport if everyone tries to apply for one at one time. not to mention a passport makes for a good id if you ever need to apply for a job or whatever.

If a family of 3 is traveling, there's usually a price for the first & second person in the cabin and the third person pays a lower rate (again, regardless of age - even if your baby is 1 week old - he/she still has to pay). The baby doesn't pay the rates like a child over 2 would. But, I believe they still have to pay taxes and fees for the cruise, not from the actualy cruise line but from port authority. The best thing to do is either ask your travel agent or the cruise line what they charge for an infant. But they have to have a seat on the life boat just like any other passenger would in case of an emergency, so there is a small charge. But it will only be a few hundred dollars.

If you are planning on just baking in the sun and jumping in the pool, that's a fine choice. If you plan on doing some sightseeing in San Juan, you'd be better off in either the Condado or Isla Verde areas. Many hotels are full-service and are much more convenient to the city. You also have the benefit of the beach and beautiful pools at these hotels, but drinks and food are of course extra.
My personal favorite is Isla Verde. It's close to the airport, there are several upscale resorts (Intercontinental, El San Juan, Ritz Carlton) and it's a beautiful beach. Downtown is about 20 minutes. In Puerto Rico, is it worth it to stay in an all-inclusive or to wing it if you are only going for a few days? all inclusive if it is your first time.

There are not too many all inclusives in Puerto Rico. there is the Paradisus. but that resort is not even close to San Juan. It is a nice resort but if you want to be near/in the city than wing it. there are pleanty of good restaurants around

There is severe poverty in the country, and living conditions are below standard. Jamaican's are very nice, but also very pushy and aggresive when it comes to money. There is not enough of it in the island and not enough jobs to provide.

I think that you should decide this, so you want to spend time puerto rico or do you want to stay in florida, now just because florida is hot doesn't mean that that's all you should think, so don't think "Oh florida's hot, I think I'll stay there." Think money wise, think about your family, if your family is doen in puerto rico maybe that's a sign for you to be there too. But if you don't want to leave your friends then just stay in florida. But maybe you're looking at things wrong maybe you want to go some where else totally different, but even if that's not it you should follow your heart.

Why wouldn't you just take it back with you? The mail service is unreliable and slow-it can take from 2 weeks to 4 months to get whatever you mailed. As for the cost-it would depend on the weight and if you insure the contents of course.

You'd probably love climbing up Dune's Falls - climbing up this waterfall is a most poplar site, but caution . . . the rocks are very slippery because of the constant water. You'll need to wear your sneakers. The climbers assist each other to keep from slipping. Stayed at The Brisas, an all inclusive resort on the beach, equivalent to a 4 star in Cancun. Nice restaurants there. Went to a block party in the intersection of downtown, it was great, free Moahita rum drinks, men gave us a flower, the kids put on a show of dancing which we later participated in; CD music; the people were very friendly. Its one of the oldest towns there, very quiet, not much to do, even at the resort. Have old buildings to see, churches; not much for shopping except at resort. Its a great place to visit for a few days and would go back again and spend more time checking out crooks & crannies. No one speaks much English, but the people were great. Hope you are taking some basic goodies for them. Like gum & chocolates for the kids, cosmetics for the women and ? for the men. Would like to know why you are going there. Nooo. you need a passport. Since 911 it is required for you to have a passport to travel outside of the states. You can leave, but if you do not have a passport, you will not be able to get back into the country.

1- If you are TRULY beach people, you're only going to stay in Cabo San Lucas (Medano beach) for beaches. The beaches at the Corridor and San Jose del Cabo are nice, but UNSWIMABLE. Period. The current is too rough.
However, Cabo is one of the most all around destination you can go to. Shopping, nightlife, horseback riding, ATV tours, surfing, great restaurants, history and culture. It's all there. One of my best experiences was a day trip (ALL DAY) to La Paz with a stop off at the THE Hotel California. Such a lovely place.
2- Best beaches - This is only my opinion.
Palm Beach - Aruba
Playa del Carmen - Riviera Maya Mexico
Orient Beach - St Martin
Seven Mile Beach - Negril
(don't know the name) - Turks and Caicos (softest sand/bluest water)

Is bermuda a nice place to go? Bermuda has some of the best beaches anywhere; pink sand beaches that you can find a deserted spot on. We were in Bermuda a couple years ago on cruise and some of the hotels had hurricane damage, but they were being repaired. The best thing about Bermuda is the beaches. There are only a few hotels on the beaches there, but all of the public beaches are great. I suggest a 5,6 or 7 day cruise to Bermuda, it will be less expensive than flying there to stay in a hotel. The island is small (22 miles long) and you can do the tour of it in one day. Then the rest of your time is beach time. They have a great public transportation system, so you can go all over the island with one public transportation ticket (bus and ferry).

i have family in bermuda so i go there all the time. it is a really beautiful place. they are a little more expensive than the US but they dont charge sales tax. if you go during the right time of year you can walk along front street on wednesdays for harbor nights. it is best if you dont go on a cruise because you get to do more of what you want to do. if you rent a moped be careful. road rash is a b*h down their. make sure you visit the SWIZZLe INN. it is a good resteraunt. be sure to go to a lot of beaches as well. have fun

There is quite a bit to do there, but at the same time, it is the perfect place to just relax. My parents love it. It is just a beautiful place to go and if she needs a vacation, I think it would be great for her.
As far as the cost, it just depends on what you include, if you get a package, or just a room, or what room you get, etc. I would say you won't find a room for less than $300 a night.

i would get one anyway. you don't want to be held up or hasseled by customs. plus, if you need one next year, might as well get one now. there will be an insanely long wait for a passport if everyone tries to apply for one at one time. not to mention a passport makes for a good id if you ever need to apply for a job or whatever.

The baby doesn't pay the rates like a child over 2 would. But, I believe they still have to pay taxes and fees for the cruise, not from the actualy cruise line but from port authority. The best thing to do is either ask your travel agent or the cruise line what they charge for an infant. But they have to have a seat on the life boat just like any other passenger would in case of an emergency, so there is a small charge. But it will only be a few hundred dollars.

If you are planning on just baking in the sun and jumping in the pool, that's a fine choice. If you plan on doing some sightseeing in San Juan, you'd be better off in either the Condado or Isla Verde areas. Many hotels are full-service and are much more convenient to the city. You also have the benefit of the beach and beautiful pools at these hotels, but drinks and food are of course extra.
My personal favorite is Isla Verde. It's close to the airport, there are several upscale resorts (Intercontinental, El San Juan, Ritz Carlton) and it's a beautiful beach. There are not too many all inclusives in Puerto Rico. there is the Paradisus. but that resort is not even close to San Juan. It is a nice resort but if you want to be near/in the city than wing it. there are pleanty of good restaurants around

There is not enough of it in the island and not enough jobs to provide.

Why wouldn't you just take it back with you? The mail service is unreliable and slow-it can take from 2 weeks to 4 months to get whatever you mailed. As for the cost-it would depend on the weight and if you insure the contents of course.

You'd probably love climbing up Dune's Falls - climbing up this waterfall is a most poplar site, but caution . . . the rocks are very slippery because of the constant water. Stayed at The Brisas, an all inclusive resort on the beach, equivalent to a 4 star in Cancun. Nice restaurants there. Went to a block party in the intersection of downtown, it was great, free Moahita rum drinks, men gave us a flower, the kids put on a show of dancing which we later participated in; CD music; the people were very friendly. Its one of the oldest towns there, very quiet, not much to do, even at the resort. Have old buildings to see, churches; not much for shopping except at resort. Its a great place to visit for a few days and would go back again and spend more time checking out crooks & crannies. No one speaks much English, but the people were great. Hope you are taking some basic goodies for them. Like gum & chocolates for the kids, cosmetics for the women and ? for the men. Would like to know why you are going there. Nooo. you need a passport. Since 911 it is required for you to have a passport to travel outside of the states. You can leave, but if you do not have a passport, you will not be able to get back into the country.

1- If you are TRULY beach people, you're only going to stay in Cabo San Lucas (Medano beach) for beaches. The beaches at the Corridor and San Jose del Cabo are nice, but UNSWIMABLE. Period. The current is too rough.
However, Cabo is one of the most all around destination you can go to. Shopping, nightlife, horseback riding, ATV tours, surfing, great restaurants, history and culture. It's all there. One of my best experiences was a day trip (ALL DAY) to La Paz with a stop off at the THE Hotel California. Such a lovely place.
2- Best beaches - This is only my opinion.
Palm Beach - Aruba
Playa del Carmen - Riviera Maya Mexico
Orient Beach - St Martin
Seven Mile Beach - Negril
(don't know the name) - Turks and Caicos (softest sand/bluest water)

Is bermuda a nice place to go? Bermuda has some of the best beaches anywhere; pink sand beaches that you can find a deserted spot on. We were in Bermuda a couple years ago on cruise and some of the hotels had hurricane damage, but they were being repaired. The best thing about Bermuda is the beaches. There are only a few hotels on the beaches there, but all of the public beaches are great. I suggest a 5,6 or 7 day cruise to Bermuda, it will be less expensive than flying there to stay in a hotel. The island is small (22 miles long) and you can do the tour of it in one day. Then the rest of your time is beach time. They have a great public transportation system, so you can go all over the island with one public transportation ticket (bus and ferry).

i have family in bermuda so i go there all the time. it is a really beautiful place. they are a little more expensive than the US but they dont charge sales tax. if you go during the right time of year you can walk along front street on wednesdays for harbor nights. it is best if you dont go on a cruise because you get to do more of what you want to do. if you rent a moped be careful. road rash is a b*h down their. make sure you visit the SWIZZLe INN. it is a good resteraunt. be sure to go to a lot of beaches as well. have fun

Mom really needs a vacationIs Atlantis Paradise Island a good place to take my mom? What's the price range? I definitely think she would like the Atlantis. There is quite a bit to do there, but at the same time, it is the perfect place to just relax. My parents love it. It is just a beautiful place to go and if she needs a vacation, I think it would be great for her.
As far as the cost, it just depends on what you include, if you get a package, or just a room, or what room you get, etc. I would say you won't find a room for less than $300 a night.

It is a great place for any age. Check out their website they put some sales up all the time, but the price running a bit high.
Its super expensive but well worth it and fun!

Is apple vacations really rhe cheapest to book vacations through? NO! My husband has a co-worker that was talking about an Apple vacation he was going to buy (an all-inclusive to Cancun). I checked into the prices a bit and ended up booking the whole vacation for him on-line.the identical vacation, mind you.for over $2000 LESS!!

I was planning a trip to Barbados last year and was going to book on line, then I went to a travel agent, I saved $2,000 and got alot more for my money.
