Is August a good time to go to the Bahamas? August is really not a good time to go to the Bahamas. The mosquitos are out at that time and it is really hot. Is August a good time to go to the Bahamas? If I'm not mistaken I think August is one of the rainy months in the Bahamas. My husband and I went a couple of years back and I'm sure it was in Aug . I think the best time to go would be in Sept. Oct. Better yet check with the travel agencies.
